TreasureLand
Kid’s seeking the Treasures of God’s Kingdom
Together, we are raising children who
Love God, Love Each Other, and
Make a Difference in their world.
Love God
We study the Bible
and memorize verses from
the Bible in order to understand the character of God and the way he relates to
people throughout history. Through this we begin to know God and learn to love
him. We sing songs of praise to God and learn to worship him together. Children
are encouraged to attend worship with their parents as they are ready, to be
baptized and participate in communion.
Love Each Other
Sunday morning classes
are designed to encourage each child to connect with an adult leader and to
develop lasting relationships with a small group of children. The children pray
for each other and learn to know and care for each other as they grow together
through the years.
Make a Difference
Within each Bible story
there is a direct application to the children’s lives. Children are encouraged to
apply biblical principles in the way they treat their families, their friends,
and by living in obedience to Christ. We provide a weekly Family Page to help families apply Biblical principles throughout the week.
The children have
several opportunities throughout the year to Make a Difference including giving
Christmas gifts to children in need around the world, collecting school
supplies and health and hygiene kits to send on our mission trips, and giving a
regular weekly offering toward church ministries and missions.
Children are also encouraged
to invite friends to church, to Wednesday evening TreasureQuest to summer VBS (June 25-29, 2012) and other events and to participate in
neighborhood parades inviting people in our community to church.
